Welcome to my new blog.

I’m a translator, opera singer and sometimes-wearer-of-bowties. This blog will be a space for my musings on the arts, translation and politics — three topics that affect my life on a daily basis and that often intersect in interesting ways.

Other topics will likely creep in from time to time. But I’ll try to keep things short and sweet (it’s in my nature to be both).
